3. How the App Works
All processing in FrameFetch is performed entirely on your device:
- Videos you open remain on your device and are never uploaded
- Extracted frames are saved locally to a folder you choose
- Face detection uses Android's built-in APIs — no images leave your device
- No internet connection is required to use any feature of the App
4. Permissions
The App may request the following Android permissions:
- Read Media (Videos / Images): Required to open video files from your storage for frame extraction.
- Write External Storage (Android 9 and below): Required to save extracted frames to your chosen folder.
- Manage All Files (Android 11+): Optional — requested to enable broader file access for saving frames. You can decline this and use the system folder picker instead.
These permissions are used solely for the core functionality of the App. No data accessed through these permissions is transmitted anywhere.
5. Third-Party Services
FrameFetch does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services.
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google Play may collect certain information as part of its standard platform operation. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
6. Children's Privacy
FrameFetch does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13, or any user of any age. The App has no data collection mechanisms whatsoever.
7. Data Security
Since FrameFetch does not collect or transmit any data, there is no personal data at risk. All files processed by the App remain on your device under your control.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is ever updated, the new version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
We do not anticipate changes that would involve the collection of personal data. Any such change would require your explicit consent.
